VILLANOVA IN THE VALLEY
ΈΜιΩΦ±²¥ in the Valley program provides students from across ΈΜιΩΦ±²¥'s campus the opportunity to engage with the innovative and entrepreneurial ecosystem of Silicon Valley.
Over six days, participants develop a deep understanding of the ecosystem through company visits, networking events, and educational tours. Participants hear first-hand from leaders at tech companies, venture capital firms, and small businesses about their career journeys and what makes the Valley tick.

Dates:
Sunday, January 5 through Friday, January 10, 2025
Daily Schedule:
Each day will vary to include site visits, networking with ΈΜιΩΦ±²¥ns, and presentations from individuals who make the Valley go. Potential site visits include Google, Facebook, VC firms, etc. Potential social programs include tourist stops and sightseeing in and around San Francisco.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver a presentation detailing one of the companies we’ll be visiting.
- Serve as the point person during our visit to said company.
- Attend four mandatory pre-program meetings:
- Meeting 1: Program logistics & history of the Silicon Valley
- Meeting 2: Networking and Valley terminology
- Meetings 3-4: Cohort presentations
Costs:
Students are responsible for:
- Paying the student fee ($1,250)
- Booking and paying for their flight to/from San Francisco International Airport.
- Arranging and paying for a taxi to/from the hotel (from San Francisco International Airport)
- The student fee covers meals, hotel, entertainment, and transportation throughout the program.
- Need-based scholarships are available.
Eligibility
Undergraduate (sophomore and above), graduate, professional, and law students are welcome to apply.
