ADULT-GERONTOLOGY PRIMARY CARE POST-GRADUATE CERTIFICATE
The post-graduate Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Certificate is designed to prepare experienced nurses for career advancement in caring for patients in adult gerontology primary care settings. Clinical courses build upon existing skills and broaden knowledge related to the care of adults and older adults, essential to independent or collaborative practice in primary care settings. Students work with physicians and nurse practitioner preceptors in a wide variety of clinical agencies and practice settings.
The Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Certificate is 25-35 credits (depending on transfer credits) and 750 clinical hours. The minimum time for program completion is 1.5 years, and students have up to five years to complete certificate requirements from first enrollment. Support courses are offered on-campus at ¸ÌéÙÖ±²¥ University or online, while clinical courses are taught on-site.
