STUDENT GROUPS EVENTS

The Center houses a number of student groups with missions to address specific issues of social justice consistent with the values and mission of the University. Whether the issue of interest is human rights, poverty, labor, racism, sexism, the environment, animal welfare, or upholding the value of life itself, these groups work on injustices in the world and are not affiliated with any particular political platform.

CAMPUS COMMUNITY EVENTS

The Center for Peace and Justice offers a variety of speakers, forums, workshops and films open to the Campus Community. Rooted in our mission, these events offer opportunities for dialogue and education about the essential elements of a moral and just society.

STUDENT AND ALUMNI DINNER

Beginning in 2014 with the vision and generous spirit of a group of Peace and Justice alumni, the Center began hosting an annual dinner to bring together current and former students. Alumni share experiences, offer networking opportunities, and reflect on how they have integrated peace and justice into their careers, their families and their lives. With each dinner, we grow our community of truly amazing individuals and we leave reinvigorated to take on the urgent and lifegiving work of advocating for a just and peaceful world.

The Center often records their events, making them accessible to the wider community. You can watch them on YouTube.
