The Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (IIE) is a driver of scholastic, educational, and professional development opportunities for creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship. IIE has a multidisciplinary focus and seeks to advance the University's strategy by fostering cross-college learning and embedding entrepreneurial thinking in ΈΜιΩΦ±²¥'s culture.

The Center for Peace and Justice

The Center for Peace and Justice, an academic unit of the College of Arts and Sciences and a division of the Office for Mission and Ministry, is an interdisciplinary academic program, informed by the Catholic social tradition, that focuses on issues of social justice and peace. Their course offerings focus on the components of a moral and just society, alternative models or socially responsible resolution of injustice and conflict, and opportunities to learn the necessary skills for peacemaking. .

The ΈΜιΩΦ±²¥ Center for Resilient Water Systems (VCRWS)

The ΈΜιΩΦ±²¥ Center for Resilient Water Systems is home to the ΈΜιΩΦ±²¥ Urban Stormwater Partnership, whose mission is to advance the evolving field of sustainable stormwater management and to foster the development of public and private partnerships through research. Current projects include a Bio Infiltration Traffic Island on West Campus, Stormwater Infrastructure at the Commons, a Delaware River Watershed Initiative, and several others. Website.

Center for Biodiversity and Ecosystem Stewardship (CBEST)

The Center for Biodiversity and Ecosystem Stewardship (CBEST) seeks to promote research in biodiversity and ecosystem science with a focus on understanding ongoing changes in ecosystems, their component organisms, and the benefits they provide to society. CBEST faculty utilize ecosystem science-based research to simulate human-induced changes in temperatures, sea levels, and pollutants. CBEST faculty are also doing work using innovative genetic and imaging techniques to explore how species have evolved in response to climatic changes. Website.
