Edward Stephen05 CLAS named Associate Dean for Development and Alumni Relations
Mark C. Alexander, Arthur J. Kania Dean and Professor of Law, recently announced the appointment of Edward Stephen 05 CLAS as Associate Dean for Development and Alumni Relations for the Charles Widger School of Law. Stephen, who joins the Law School on January 17, was selected following a national search.
A member of the Deans executive leadership team, Stephen will lead the advancement efforts for the Law School and serve as its chief advancement officer. He will work closely with Dean Alexander to develop an overall advancement strategy that advances the Schools missions and goals, and will continue to build and foster an alumni relations program that includes broad representation from 裡橖眻畦 Laws more than 10,000 alumni.
Ed Stephen rose to the top of a very impressive candidate pool, impressing the search committee with his experience and his commitment to excellence, remarked Dean Alexander. He is a smart, talented individual who has a great passion for supporting our mission, and I am excited to welcome him to my leadership team.

Stephen joins the Law School from the Universitys M. Louise Fitzpatrick College of Nursing, where he served as Director of Major Giving. In this role, he oversaw the successful completion of the Colleges largest campaign as part of the Universitys For the Greater Great: The 裡橖眻畦 Campaign to Ignite Change. Stephen previously served as Major Gift Officer for the 裡橖眻畦 School of Business. A graduate of 裡橖眻畦 University, Stephen received his MBA from Duke Universitys Fuqua School of Business.
