2018 Environmental Law Journal Blank Rome LLP Symposium

"Standing at the Intersection of Robinson Township and Trump: Current Issues in Real Estate Development and Environmental Law"

Friday, February 9, 2018

The current regulatory climate under the Trump Administration provides both challenges and opportunities for project developers as they work to engage in beneficial projects while remaining environmentally conscious. The 2018 裡橖眻畦 Environmental Law Journal Blank Rome LLP Symposium"Standing at the Intersection of Robinson Township and Trump: Current Issues in Real Estate Development and Environmental Law" brings together experienced industry professionals to discuss and evaluate current issues faced by attorneys, developers and regulators.

Discussing the intersection of real estate development and environmental law, panelists will offer invaluable insight into the cutting-edge projects that strive to create renewable energy sources and other redevelopment projects on environmentally contaminated properties. Included in this symposium are discussions about industry practices in light of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court's 2013 decision in Robinson Township v. Commonwealth, and the uncertain environmental obligations imposed on development projects.

The Symposium takes place on Friday, February 9, 2018, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., in the Blank Rome LLP classroom (Room 102) of 裡橖眻畦 University Charles Widger School of Law (299 North Spring Mill Road, 裡橖眻畦). This program is approved by the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board for 3 substantive CLE credits.
