ONRI Page Header Crop

Creation of nursing science, novel ideas to improve health, faculty-student partnerships, mentoring, advances in nursing education through simulation and technology, and interprofessional collaboration are outcomes from the research and innovation projects conducted through the M. Louise Fitzpatrick College of Nursing.

New knowledge is developed with the goal of improving clinical practice and health care delivery, as well as the health of patients and populations.

The Office of Nursing Research and Innovation (ONRI) at the Fitzpatrick College of Nursing was established in 2006 as the focal point for scholarly inquiry within the College. The ONRI coordinates and supports research and innovation activities within the College, in collaboration with other ¸ÌéÙÖ±²¥ academic areas, as well as external entities.

The ONRI supports faculty, students, and staff through educational content (e.g., Brown Bags, training in the responsible conduct of research), assistance and mentoring in the grant writing process, help finding funding activities and sources, mock review of proposals, and feedback on publications and presentations. The ONRI mission is to bring innovative ideas to life.
