GRADUATE CERTIFICATE IN PRACTICAL THEATRE

Faculty, staff and students working together during rehearsal

The ΈΜιΩΦ±²₯ Theatre Department offers a Graduate Certificate in Practical Theatre, which provides a broad background in practical theatre to the student who may not wish to pursue the full MA degree but would like to acquire the skills, vocabulary, and methodology fundamental to the practice of theatre.

Students take five performance or production-related courses (three credits each) and complete one practicum by participating in one of our shows during the production season.

Upon satisfactory completion of 15 credit hours plus the practicum, the student will be awarded the Graduate Certificate in Practical Theatre.
