RESOURCES AND OPPORTUNITIES
Philosophy Club
The Philosophy Club provides a chance for students who share a common enthusiasm for philosophy to get together and talk, socialize, and plan special projects and lectures. In past years the club has sponsored lectures on "God and Evil," "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance," "Poetry and History," "The Myth of Sisyphus," and "The Philosophy of Woody Allen." It has invited speakers from within the Philosophy Department, from other departments within the University, and from the ¸ÌéÙÖ±²¥ community.
Members of the Philosophy Club have also made presentations to the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee of the Philosophy Department, providing valuable student input on matters of educational policy. The Philosophy Club is not restricted to Philosophy Majors. It welcomes all who might wish to share in enjoying Philosophy.
