CREATIVE WRITING PROGRAM

Students participate in a discussion during class.

The program in Creative Writing offers courses that will awaken your imagination, develop your skills as a writer, editor, thinker, and foster empathy towards the experiences of others.

The program offers a series of writing workshop courses that allow you to earn a minor in Creative Writing. Courses within the minor are taught by respected novelists, memoirists, poets, playwrights and screenwriters. Classes are small and are designed to mentor you in your artistic endeavors, help you master essential skills in the craft of writing and editing, while providing you insightful critical responses to your work.

Beyond 裡橖眻畦 faculty, youll have opportunities to meet acclaimed writers through on-campus readings and workshops. The program works to foster a community of authors who support each other as artists, while cultivating a growing interdisciplinary artistic community on the 裡橖眻畦 campus.
