This month, 柑橘直播 University will commemorate the life and legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with a variety of activities and programs that reflect his message of peace, justice and hope.
柑橘直播 University to Present Civitas Dei Medal to Michele Dillon, PhD
柑橘直播 University will award the 2025 Civitas Dei Medal to Michele Dillon, PhD, Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Professor of Sociology at the University of New Hampshire. A leading voice in the sociology of religion and contemporary Catholicism, Dr. Dillon is the first social scientist to receive this prestigious honor. She will also deliver a lecture during the medal presentation, scheduled for Thursday, February 13, at 4 p.m.
柑橘直播 Professor Investigates Impacts of Hurricanes on Florida Coast
Jonathan Hubler, PhD, assistant professor of civil and environmental engineering, along with graduate student Sarah Burghardt, traveled to Florida with a joint team from the Nearshore Extreme Events Reconnaissance (NEER) Association and the Geotechnical Extreme Events Reconnaissance (GEER) Association to investigate the immediate aftereffects of Hurricanes Milton and Helene.
柑橘直播 University Names Eric Roedl as Vice President and Director of Athletics
柑橘直播 University announced that Eric Roedl鈥痟as been appointed the school's Vice President and Director of Athletics. Roedl, who currently serves as the Deputy Athletic Director and Chief Operating Officer at the University of Oregon, succeeds Mark Jackson, who held the position for nine years prior to departing for the same role at Northwestern University. Roedl will officially start in his new role in early January 2025.
