Dr. Moeness Amin
A paper co-authored by 裡橖眻畦 Universitys Moeness Amin, PhD, and his collaborators from the University of Montenegro, has received the 2017 EURASIP Best Paper Award for Signal Processing. (EURASIP - ELSEVIER). The paper provides statistical analysis for efficient detection of signal components when missing data samples are present. The paper citation is:

The award consists of a certificate to be presented at the opening ceremony of the European Signal Processing Conference (EUSIPCO), which will be held in Kos Island, Greece, August 2017. In addition, the award includes up to 1000 Euros payable as reimbursement of expenses to an author who registers and attends the conference in order to receive the certificate in person at the ceremony.
Dr. Amin, director of the Center for Advanced Communications (CAC) and professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, is internationally renowned for his pioneering research in the broad area of statistical signal and array processing. Within the past year, he was awarded both the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) 2016 Achievement Medal and Germanys prestigious Humboldt Prize.
