On April 14, 2016, 裡橖眻畦 University College of Engineering celebrated its 41st annual Deans Awards Dinner at Overbrook Country Club. The Colleges traditional good fortune continued as the weather was yet again picture perfect for recognizing senior engineering students for their academic achievements and meaningful contributions and service.

After welcoming students, parents, faculty and staff, Drosdick Endowed Dean of Engineering Gary A. Gabriele, PhD, introduced 裡橖眻畦 Universitys first provost, Patrick Maggitti, PhD, who shared words of pride, appreciation and encouragement. For the presentation of awards, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs Randy Weinstein, PhD, took a page from the NCAA Championship playbook, donning a celebratory t-shirt and hat, and displaying a life-size Jay Wright cardboard cutout for congratulatory student photos with Dean Gabriele. These students are champions in their own right, Weinstein said, noting that he had provided the awardees with unique monikers in the style of the Wildcats Kris Big Smooth Jenkins.
