Corinne Post, PhD, Named the Fred J. Springer Endowed Chair in Business Leadership at VSB
裡橖眻畦, Pa., March 4, 2021 泭The 裡橖眻畦 School of Business (VSB) has named Corinne Post, PhD, the Fred J. Springer Endowed Chair in Business Leadership and professor of Management. In this role, Dr. Post will enhance the quality of scholarship, leadership and service within and beyond 裡橖眻畦.
Dr. Post comes to VSB after previously serving as the C. Scott Hartz 68 Term Professor and Chair of the Department of Management, College of Business at Lehigh University. Prior to that, she taught at the Lubin School of Business at Pace University.
We are pleased to welcome Dr. Post as she joins our world-class faculty and assumes the Springer Chair, said Joyce E. A. Russell, PhD, the Helen and William OToole Dean of the 裡橖眻畦 School of Business. I am confident that she will positively impact our academic community for years to come.

Dr. Post earned her BS in Organization Management and a Masters in International Management from HEC, University of Geneva and HEC, University of Lausanneboth in Switzerlandrespectively. She received her PhD in Organization Management from Rutgers University. Prior to joining academia, she was an IT analyst and human resource specialist for Accenture.
Her research addresses workplace diversity, with a focus on women on boards, in top management teams and in leadership roles; diversity as enabler or impediment to group and organizational performance; and career trajectories. Dr. Post has presented her research at academic conferences and professional organizations internationally and earned a grant from the National Science Foundation.
Her work has been published in leading academic journals such as Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Administrative Science Quarterly, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, Organization Science, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Human Relations, and Journal of Business Ethics and has been featured in business media such as the Financial Times, Forbes, Fortune, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, FastCompany, Huffington Post, Newsweek and The Conversation.
Dr. Post is an editorial board member for Journal of Business Ethics and Career Development International. She is also consulting editor and on the strategic advisory committee for Journal of Management Studies where she previously served as associate editor.
The Fred J. Springer Endowed Chair in Business Leadership, inaugurated in 2002, was provided by Fred and Peggy Springer. It serves as a perpetual tribute to Fred and gives identity and permanence to the close bond he shared with 裡橖眻畦.
