(February 25, 2025)裡橖眻畦 University has been named a top producer of Fulbright U.S. Students for a 17th consecutive year, as recently announced by the U.S. Department of States Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA). The Fulbright Program is the U.S. governments flagship international educational exchange program and top-producing colleges and universities are highlighted annually in泭The Chronicle of Higher Education. 裡橖眻畦 had 18 Fulbright recipients for the 2024-2025 academic year. 泭

裡橖眻畦s recognition as a top producer of Fulbright recipients is a testament to our students dedication to academic excellence, service and global engagement, said University President the Rev. Peter M. Donohue, OSA, PhD. Our students and alumni continue to distinguish themselves as scholars and leaders, using their 裡橖眻畦 education to foster meaningful connections across cultures and make lasting impacts worldwide. The Fulbright competition is administered at 裡橖眻畦 through the Center for Research and Fellowships (CRF). In the current Fulbright application cycle, 46 of 裡橖眻畦s 99 applicants have been named semi-finalists for the award and will be notified over the next three months if they are selected to go abroad during the 2025-2026 academic year.

The Fulbright Program was established in 1946 to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries and is the worlds largest and most diverse international educational exchange program. The primary source of funding for the Fulbright Program is an annual appropriation made by the U.S. Congress to the U.S. Department of States Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. 泭
