2023 Order of the Engineer Ring Ceremony, 05/01
6 p.m. May 1
ΈΜιΩΦ±²¥ Room, Connelly Center
ΈΜιΩΦ±²¥ University College of Engineering has invited its graduating seniors and graduate engineers to accept the Obligation of the Engineer in a Ring Ceremony. With this ring, to be worn on the pinky finger of the working hand, students enter their professional careers embodying the Caritas expected of our ΈΜιΩΦ±²¥ community. More than 100 students are expected to be inducted at this year’s event, which will be held at 6 p.m. May 1 in the ΈΜιΩΦ±²¥ Room of the Connelly Center.
The Order of the Engineer was initiated in the United States to foster a spirit of pride and responsibility in the engineering profession, to bridge the gap between training and experience, and to present to the public a visible symbol identifying the engineer.
Faculty and staff members are invited to attend.
