ASCE Professional Development & Networking Meetup

All class years. All majors, geared toward civil engineering majors.

Network with 裡橖眻畦's student group, the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). Join ASCE members and civil engineering students for an afternoon of professional development and open networking. This meetup is specifically for employers seeking to connect with civil engineering students.

    

Student-Athlete Networking Night

Tuesday, January 28

Student-athletes. All class years: sophomore, junior, senior, and graduate students encouraged. All majors.
No fee/No sponsorship

This second-annual event connects 裡橖眻畦 alumni athletes, employers, and current student-athletes for meaningful career discussions. Attendees will participate in open networking focusing on leveraging student-athlete's skills in the workplace, building professional relationships, and transitioning from Division I athletics to post-graduate life. A representative from your organization who is a former student-athlete is encouraged to attend.

裡橖眻畦 nursing alumni working in various specialties at hospitals and healthcare systems across the 'Nova Nation will share their professional experiences on a virtual panel, provide advice for new nurses, and highlight different pathways. Open to ALL undergraduate nursing students; this panel (co-sponsored by SNAP) is a great opportunity to engage alumni within your organization and create brand awareness for future 裡橖眻畦 nurses as they pursue their careers!

    

Career Passion Pitch: Housing and Food Insecurity

The Career Passion Pitch is built on the understanding that professionals are motivated by the purpose behind their work. This monthly round table discussion series focuses on a different social justice cause each session. The series returns this February and will focus on Housing and Food Insecurity. We invite interested employers and alumni working in this area to share how your organizations mission statement drives your work. The event will start with each professional's passion pitch, followed by round table discussions with students.

    

VCG Consulting Bootcamp & Virtual Alumni Mock Case Interviews

March through April

Accepted VCG Bootcamp program participants.

The Consulting Bootcamp is a multi-week program designed to prepare students from all majors for the fall recruiting season through a series of workshops and case interviews. A signature component of this program is a virtual alumni mock case interview where Bootcamp participants have the chance to practice case interviews with a 裡橖眻畦 alum or professional in the consulting field.

A Day in the Life of Series: Careers in Communications, Media, and Marketing

Employers and alumni within the communications, media, and marketing fields are invited to guide students through a typical workday by presenting for our A Day in the Life of Series: Careers in Communications, Media, and Marketing. This speaker series reflects the communications work environment by professionals guiding 裡橖眻畦 students through a sample of their workday, hour by hour, interspersed with interactive elements. As a presenter, you can demonstrate how you tackle the unique challenges of your role while providing students with valuable insights into a potential career path.
