VSB’s MAC program builds on the foundational knowledge covered in an undergraduate accounting curriculum. If you didn’t major in accounting but have taken the pre-requisite courses as part of another course of study, you may still be eligible for the MAC program. We encourage you to reach out to our admissions representatives to discuss your options.

Yes, the ¸ÌéÙÖ±²¥ MAC program is STEM-designated, meeting governmental criteria as an approved field of study in science, technology, engineering or mathematics. International students who complete the MAC program and are working in their direct field of study are eligible to apply for a potential STEM OPT visa extension to gain up to an additional 24 months of work experience. The ¸ÌéÙÖ±²¥ MAC is a rigorous one-year program combining classroom hours, coursework, a professional development program, and group work which requires a full-time commitment.

The ¸ÌéÙÖ±²¥ MAC is a full-time program, so you’ll need to be able to commute to ¸ÌéÙÖ±²¥â€™s Main Campus while you’re taking on-campus courses.

Yes, our curriculum covers relevant topics on the CPA exam and provides CPA exam prep support such as access to highly discounted Becker exam prep materials. Please note that the MAC program must be coupled with an appropriate undergraduate degree to provide all of the credits needed to meet the educational requirements to sit for the exam. Please review the state-based educational requirements in your location.

Yes, all programs offered by the ¸ÌéÙÖ±²¥ School of Business are accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the professional accrediting body for business schools.

The 2024-25 academic year tuition for the entire program is $46,500 or $1,550
per credit. The university also assesses a $100 general fee each semester.

Please note that if you require additional coursework beyond the standard curriculum, your tuition costs will be higher.

The Master of Accounting with Data Analytics Fellows Program is an assistantship that allows students to pursue their degree on a full-time basis while obtaining paid research experience with faculty members. Fellows receive a 50% tuition discount. In addition to receiving 50% remission of tuition and fees, fellows also receive a living stipend.

Students who have completed the MAC program have the option to apply for admission to the Professional MBA program, enabling them to transfer up to 12 credits into the MBA program.

A Master of Accounting, like ¸ÌéÙÖ±²¥â€™s MAC program, is geared for those seeking a career within audit or advisory services, corporate finance, forensic accounting or as a financial analyst. The MAC curriculum integrates data analytics with other essential skills, such as valuation, risk, tax, fraud and qualitative skills, to prepare students to become multi-dimensional accountants.

A Master of Business Taxation, like ¸ÌéÙÖ±²¥â€™s MBT program, is designed for those seeking a career as a tax professional within the accounting industry, including consulting roles within taxation. The MBT program provides advanced coursework in tax and accounting with quantitative applications in modeling, data, analytics and technology. The curriculum covers in-depth topics such as the impact of taxation on business operations and planning, corporate and partnership taxation, mergers and acquisitions, international taxation, state and local taxation, and tax research, policy and ethics.
