VSB Welcomes New Faculty Members
裡橖眻畦, Pa., August 23, 2023 The 裡橖眻畦 School of Business (VSB) is pleased to announce the addition of three new faculty members to join its team of teacher-scholars.
VSB is pleased to welcome this exceptional group of teacher-scholars to our faculty, said Wen Mao, PhD, the Helen and William OToole Dean of VSB. These individuals bring a wealth of experiences that will inspire our students for their future careers in business.
The new faculty members are:
Stasia Morlino, PhD: Dr. Morlino joins VSBs Accounting & Information Systems department as an assistant professor of practice. She earned her BS in Accounting from La Salle University, her MBA from Temple University, and her PhD in Accounting from the University of Scranton. For the past three years, Dr. Morlino has served as an assistant professor at La Salle. She is an active CPA in Pennsylvania and has worked at the Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia, Temple University Health System and KPMG.
Laura Shannon: Shannon joins VSB as an assistant professor of practice in the Finance & Real Estate department. She earned her BS in Accounting from Gwynedd Mercy University and her MBA from La Salle University. Shannon has more than 17 years of experience in commercial real estate, with the past 10 years at Kroll Bond Rating Agency (KBRA).
Daniel Way, PhD: Dr. Way earned his BS in Accounting & Information Systems from the Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Tech, MaCC from the Belk College of Business at UNC Charlotte, MS in Technology Systems from East Carolina University, and MBus and PhD in Accounting from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. He joins VSBs Accounting & Information Systems department as an assistant professor after serving as an assistant professor at Clemson University and an associate instructor at Indiana University. Dr. Way has worked as both a business systems consultant and financial consultant at Wells Fargo.
